SHIKARPUR: After emerging the news of the martyrdom of two police cops and one private tracer during an encounter took place between dacoits and police at Katcha area of Garhi Tegho, fallen in the Tehsil Khanpur of District Shikarpur, the regional police officer [RPO] Sukkur, Kamran Fazil, the Deputy Inspector General of Police [DIG], SSP Shikarpur Captain R Ameer Saud Magsi, and SSP Kashmore-Kandhkot Amjad Ali held a press conference at Deputy Commissioner Office Shikarpur and told the newsmen that operation against criminals would be continued till the elimination of the criminals and expressed their great sorrow and grief over the loss of two police cops and one private tracer and claimed to kill at least six to eight dacoits and injured one dozen dacoits, but failed to prove their claims concerning the killings and injuring dacoits.
Replying to a question regarding starting operation all officers said that there is a dire need for a strict operation against bandits because who are kidnapped at least a dozen persons from them a half dozen people have been released, but a half dozen people still are clutches of the dacoits and bandits have been destroying the situation of law and order and no one would be allowed to destroy the situation of law and order.
The funeral of two cops and a private tracer was held at police headquarters Shikarpur in which all the above-mentioned officers participated and vowed to eliminate criminals from grass route level.
