Protest over fake domiciles held in front the DC office Badin

BADIN : People of different walks of life, including representatives of political parties, members of the civil society and right activists held a protest demonstration here outside the Deputy Commissioner Badin office on Monday against the issuance of fake domiciles to the outsiders.
According to reports, protest rally was taken out from DC chowk Badin led by Ameer Azad Panhwar of Sindh United Students Federation, Tafseer Memon, Abu Nohani, Danish Memon and others and participated by large number of students, citizens and politician.
The protestants also held demonstrations and sit-in in front of Deputy Commissioner Office Badin against the issuance of hundreds of fake domiciles to the aliens and their illegal selection in medical universities of Sindh. The protestors demanded immediate cancellation of domiciles and their expected admissions in various universities and other educational institutes attained on the qouta of district Badin.
Addressing the protestors, the speakers including Ameer Azad Panhwar, Abu Nohani, Danish Soomro and others equated the issuance of fake domiciles with a robbery committed in a broad daylight against the indigenous people.
They alleged that people from outside of Sindh had managed to obtain domiciles after paying hefty bribes and maintained that 13 domiciles of the candidates who were initially selected for admission in Medical Universities are fake and bogus saying that holders of fake domiciles had occupied resources, taken admissions in different universities and got jobs while local and indigenous youths were deprived of getting education in reputable public institutions and were being neglected in jobs.
Other hand, on the directives of Deputy Commissioner Badin, Sayed Aijaz Ali Shah, Dr. Ali Bhoot, District Officer, Planning & Development Badin and Ghulam Abbas Memon, Additional Deputy Commissioner-I have conducted talks with protestors and held negotiations with them which successfully ended.
District administration assured the protestors that with seven days investigation against all thirteen doubtful domiciles of the candidates who have taken admission in medical university will be concluded adding that those domiciles affirmed as fake through investigation will be rejected adding that soon computerized domiciles and PRCs would be issued amid to avoid issuance of fake domiciles.
The protestors demanded a more stringent probe into the matter and for those culpable to be brought to the book.
