The United States has allowed trade with Afghanistan despite sanctions.
According to foreign media, the US government has issued new rules allowing trade and financial transactions with Afghanistan in most areas.
Announcing the new measures, the US Deputy Secretary of the Treasury said that in light of the “serious crisis” in Afghanistan, it was important for us to address the concerns that our sanctions were hampering trade and financial activities.
The US Treasury Department says the measures allow all transactions involving Afghanistan and its government agencies to the extent necessary, except for those that directly benefit the Taliban, the Haqqani Network or other entities banned due to US sanctions. Deliver
