Trader robbed at gunpoint in Shikarpur

SHIKARPUR: A trader of Rice and Sugar has been robbed at gunpoint by a few unknown armed assailants at his shop in the limits of Stuart Ganj Police Station, here on Monday.
According to reports, a trader named Jaipal Das was robbed at gunpoint by a few armed assailants and have succeeded in looting cash amount said to be Rs:4 million.
Area police rushed on the spot and got information about robbers and started its investigation.
However, after the incident of robbery, the traders of Shikarpur expressed their great reservations on increasing the incidents of robberies and demanded the high up to take notice of the increasing incidents of robberies and also demanded to recover the looted amount of traders otherwise they threatened to extend their protest movement.
