SHIKARPUR: Two minor babies were killed while their parents sustained severe injuries in a road accident that took place between the Truck and Motorcycle at Shikarpur-Larkana Indus highway next to New Anja Mandi, in the limits of Stuart Ganj Police Station, here on Tuesday.
According to details collected by this scribe that accident took place between a fast-moving Truck and motorcycle coming from the opposite direction, which results, two siblings identified as baby Tayaba, of 03, and baby Seema, of 07, were killed on the spot while their parents named Muhammad Moosa and Ms. Sabran, by caste Brohi, sustained severe injuries in a road accident.
The motorcyclist family was said to be heading to their village said to be near Rahimabad, a village of Shikarpur, from Shikarpur city after attending a program.
Area police reached on the spot and impounded the ill-fated Truck and moved the bodies and injured to Shikarpur Civil Hospital Shikarpur while it was reported that the driver of the ill-fated truck managed to escape from the place of incident.
The condition of the injured was said to be serious while the bodies of the deceased babies were handed over to their heirs after conducting necessary medical formalities and the injured were referred to Sukkur Hospital for further medical assistance.
An FIR was to be registered till the filing of this news file.
