Unannounced long hours power outages continues in Badin

BADIN: The long hours unannounced electricity break down was continued in Badin and adjoining areas.
The failure of electricity in the city for more than 20 hours amid increasing heat wave has irked the citizens. The commercial and domestic consumers were suffered while daily wages employees working in different small factories and shopping centres were deprived of their wages due to prevailing electricity failure. The citizens were also facing hardships for supply of water.
It is pertinent to mention that some two days earlier, meeting was held in Deputy Commissioner office Badin and rain emergency was announced while in this connection rain emergency control room was also established in the office of DC Badin to tackle the situation but despite of directives to concerned officials, no one was ready to attend the phone and record complaints of citizens in Hesco office Badin.
