JACOBABAD: Jacobabad Saddar police raid on village Lal Bakhsh Baghio, arrest more than a dozen, tortured women and children – Villagers protest against police action. According to details, the police of Saddar police station Jacobabad raided Lal Bakhsh Baghio village this evening and arrested 4 persons Shafi Mohammad, Ataullah, Habibullah and Nooruddin Brohi and detained them in the police station.Hundreds of villagers took demonstration against the police act and russhed to the Sindh-Balochistan National Highway to protest the police action. Where they burned tires and closed the national highway۔The protesters said that the police have not only arrested and lost our innocent people but also tortured women and children and looted goods and property from their homes.They demanded that the protests continue and the national highway remain closed until the detainees are released and the SHO of the police station is suspended.Spokesman of SSP Jacobabad Shah Zaman Dhar reached the protest site, talked to the protesters and after ensuring justice, ended the protest and restored traffic.
