Women, transgender and persons with disability be given a share in politics

JACOBABAD: Women, transgender and the persons with disability PWDs should be given a share in politics, all sections of the society should have equal opportunities, said Coalition for Inclusive Pakistan CIP Jacobabad chapter leaders, while talking to media. They said that the neglected are trying to give rights to all sections according to the constitution of Pakistan. They said that TDEA-administered CIP members are now fighting for the rights of these people. They said that it was not acceptable to reduce the representation of women in the local body elections from 33% to less seats and they should be reinstated. Along with this, transgenders and the disabled should also be given special seats in the local body elections On this occasion, Transgender Faizi Jan said that they are being discriminated against in the society and their grievances are not being heard even in government institutions. For this, the government needs to implement the existing laws, adding that eunuchs and other sections are also part of the society and quotas should be given to them in educational institutions and government jobs. So that this class also lives a dignified life They also demanded that the X sign should be omitted from the national identity card and be removed as it would not allow all eunuchs to travel to Saudi Arabia, thus depriving them of the blessings of Hajj and Umrah. All transgenders are also being deprived of the right to inherit.On the occasion, Ghulam Muhammd Sarki said that social society, political and social organizations and media should play a positive role in solving the problems of women, eunuchs and the disabled.
