KHAIRPUR: The 300th annual Urs of Makhdoom Abdul Rehman Shaheed and his 221 companions was observed in Khuhra during which Shuhada Conference was organized on Tuesday. The caretakers and Sajjadanashins of different Dargahs attended the Urs and Shuhada Conference. Sajjadanashin Makhdoom Nadeem Ahmed Hashmi, Makhdoom Sikandar Ali Hashmi and others inaugurated the annual Urs by laying a chadar on the grave of Makhdoom Abdul Rehman Shaheed. The religious scholars, who included Abdullah Dahri, Muhammad Khalil Ahmed, Shabbir Hassan and others addressed the conference. Makhdoom Nadeem Ahmed Hashmi presented the traditional gifts of Ajrak to the guests. On the occasion, Quran Khawani was also organized in which people belonging to different walks of life participated in a large number.
