JACOBABAD: A protest was staged in Jacobabad by the Primary Teachers Association against gang rape of a primary teacher’s daughter. Hundreds of union members and teachers gathered at the district office from where a rally was taken out under the leadership of former PTA Central President Intezar Chhalgari. Protesters chanted slogans for justice and reached the press club where they addressed the protesters Addressing the protesters, Intezar Chhalgari Zahoor Wagan Abdul Nabi Soomro Masood Odhano and others said that such incidents have become a daily occurrence emong the daughters of Sindh. Every day wild beasts bite some girl in public but the rulers have become silent spectators due to which such beasts are roaming free.They demanded that the government should make a strict law against gang rape in the name of Bushra Rajpar and punish the perpetrators severely and provide immediate justice to Bushra Rajpar otherwise PTA would announce a protest movement in the whole of Sindh.
