Washo Bhagnani, the producer of the Bollywood film Bell Bottom, had asked actor Akshay Kumar for a Rs 300 crore reduction in the film’s remuneration, which was accepted by the superstar.
Indian media reports claimed that Akshay would get Rs 117 crore for the film Bell Bottom, while another report later revealed that Akshay had paid Rs 117 crore for the film Bell Bottom to be released in 2022. The media report states that as a childhood friend of Indian filmmaker Sajid Nadiawala, Akshay had received only Rs 99 crore from him for the Bollywood film Bachchan Pandey.
However, now the Indian media is reporting that Akshay has been paid less for another filmmaker.
The film Bell Bottom was supposed to be released in April, but due to the global epidemic Corona, the release of the film was delayed. Due to this delay, the budget of the film was also reduced.
