DC Shikarpur asks traders to implement SOPs

SHIKARPUR: A high-level meeting was convened to review the arrangements to implement SOPs under the chairmanship of the Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur, in which, Lieutenant Colonel Ali, ASP Shikarpur Fazil Bukhari, DHO Dr. Shabir Shaikh, Assistant Commissioners of all talukas, Mukhtiarkars, and other line department officers and traders participated the meeting, held at his office, on Monday.
Speaking the meeting, the DC Shikarpur, said that markets are not being closed at a given time he advised the traders to implement SOPs and close their business on given time otherwise we will have to send the traders jail and also fine impose on them further we have been taking Covid-19 tests at small level despite 20 to 25 cases are being reported on a daily basis which is the alarming condition, therefore he appealed the people of Shikarpur to act upon on SOPs.
Kashif Nabi Khuhro, the DC, further said that we have received clear cut directions from higher authorities and informed the meeting participants that all public transport will have a ban from 30th April
Lieutenant Colonel Ali said that we have here to help out the district administration and civil institutes and also summoned lists of needy and deserving persons to distribute ration begs amongst them.
Dr Shabir Shaikh said that district administration has conducted 84620 Corona tests from them 2703 positive cases have been reported from the 151 cases are active and 16 people have lost their lives so far.
Later, a flag march also conducted by Pak Army, Police, and Pak Rangers.
