District Council Jacobabad employees protest against non payment of salaries

JACOBABAD: Jacobabad District Council employees have not received their salaries for two months, office lockdown protests, symbolic hunger strike, chanting slogans against the District Administrator. According to the details the Employees of Jacobabad District Council, led by Salman Dahar, Hussain Bakhsh, Shabbir Ahmed and others, locked the office demonstrated at the main gate of the office against non-receipt of salary for two months. Demonstrators chanted slogans against the chief officer, saying that 125 employees and about 150 pensioners have been deprived of their salaries for the past two months, which is a gross violation service act. Livelihood has become difficult due to non-receipt of salary they said. Please have mercy on us. Minister for Local Government and Secretary take notice of this they requested . In this regard, Chief Officer Pir Wahid Bakhsh said that the audit authorities did not pass the bill, the verification of the bills of the employees is being delayed while Naeem Malik of the Local Audit Fund said that the bills of the employees of the District Council did not recieved So how to process salaries.
