It’s not too late

By: Zulfiqar Ali Bhatti

Never last forever things we made
But our deeds and whatever we said
Why should we cling then to things?
We know none of which ever brings
To us peace for our mind and heart
But see, we continue for such a sort
Then finally towards our ultimate end
They tell us like an ill unfaithful friend
It was nothing but all just an illusion
And then we regret our delusion
And then of course we repent but
Of no use, alas, as all is shut
We get No more time anymore
So we should think of it before
The end of our fortune and fate
Still it’s time; it’s not too late
