SHIKARPUR: On the direction of the Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur, Kashif Nabi Khuhro, all the Assistant Commissioners of Shikarpur district and Mukhtiarkars as well intensified the process of checking prices of all essential commodities including chicken dealers and fine imposed against them.
In this regard, Asif Soomro, Mukhtiarkar Shikarpur, visited many shops of essential commodities and chicken shops and imposed fines amounting to 10300 situated at many segments of the Shikarpur and also sealed Godown and issued strict direction to the chicken association to act on the orders issued by the district administration.
Jawad Ahmed Larik, AC Shikarpur, Abdul Rahman Khoso, the Mukhtiarkar Khanpur, also paying surprise visits to Shikarpur and Khanpur to maintain prices of essential commodities and imposing fines on profiteers on daily basis.
The citizens of Shikarpur hailed the efforts of the DC Shikarpur, Assistant Director, Bureau of Supply & Prices, for taking necessary steps to control prices during the Holy Month of Ramzan Sharif.
