Two villagers kidnapped from Shikarpur; toll reaches to 12

SHIKARPUR: Two villagers named Bismillah Mahar and Habibullah Mahar, residents of village Aqil Bhutto village were allegedly kidnapped next to Bhirkan and Abido area of Chak town of Shikarpur district, in the limits of Chak Police Station, on late other day evening.
The heirs came to know when they did not return to their homes and their motorcycle found abandoned at link road and started recording their protest and termed that both Bismillah and Habibullah Mahar have been kidnapped for ransom money, because they don’t have enmity with anyone.
Following the information, area police started their investigation, but still in dark.
It is worthwhile to mention here that four persons including Usama Sethar, Wajid Sethar, Imran Golo and Abid Ali Golo from the limits of Khanpur Police Station, prior of that two laborers were returning back to their village Moro Marri when a group of armed assailants kidnapped them at gunpoint and took them away towards Katcha area. Besides, Sonharo Pahore, residences of Thul taluks of Jacobabad, was kidnapped a week back from the jurisdiction of Rustam police station and once again toll reached a dozen kidnappees.
Similarly, Ali Nawaz Panhwar and Mazhar Hussain Jaffari have also been kidnapped in the limits of Naparkot Police Station, but police have neither found their whereabouts and nor police have arrested kidnappers so far, but police claimed to have recovered only Abdul Majeed after an encounter.
Keeping an eye over the kidnapping of at least a dozen people from the jurisdiction of Shikarpur, and increasing incident of theft and other crimes Muhammad Shaharyar Khan Mahar, MPS-PS-08 Shikarpur District wrote a letter addressed to IGP Sindh police in which he expressed his great reservations of worsening situation of law and order in Shikarpur.
