Half dozen villager belonging to two groups of Jatoi tribe killed in firing over honor killing

SHIKARPUR: At least half a dozen villagers belonging to the Jatoi community persons were killed next to Chaman bridge over an old ongoing dispute concerning honor killing between two groups Saad Khanani Jatoi and Kamalani Jatoi, in the limits of Rustam Police Station.
According to reports reached here that at least six villagers identified as Baxial, Shahzado aka Joti, Kako, Hazoor Bux, Mullan aka Samano, and Rawat Jatoi, belonging to both sides, were killed while eight villagers whose names could not be ascertained, were sustained bullet injuries in a deadly dispute between two groups.
Following the information, a heavy police contingent headed by SSP Shikarpur has gone to Katcha area to overcome the situation and shifting the dead bodies to the concerned hospital.
However, till the filing of this news file, neither bodies have been recovered nor the police have controlled the situation.
