Nasim Bhukhari, an eminent columnist and writer of Shikarpur.

SHIKARPUR: Many eminent personalities have born from the pure dust of Shikarpur and who have lit the name of Shikarpur in all fields of life mainly literature, poetry, writing stories, and columns and Nasim Bukhari is one of them Mr. Nasim Bukhari, born on 2nd February 1980 in Tillo Pahore, a tiny village of Khanpur tehsil, of Shikarpur, who started getting his Primary education in Jhanwgani village and moved to Tharopur in 1986, a suburb area of Shikarpur, and got admitted at Haji Fatih Muhammaed Osto, Government High School for further education, he, however, done his Bachelor’s degree from Shah Latif Arts College Shikarpur, and completed Masters in Sindhi Literature from Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur.
Mr. Bukhari, keeping an eye over the increasing issues of Tharopur Mohalla including non-availability of Sui Southern Gas Company, excessive load-shedding of electricity, dilapidated condition of the roads and streets as well and other basic issues, started highlighting the issues by writing press releases and started visiting the media representatives, but after getting a little response from either side, he directly started writing the outstanding issues of Muhalla in 1995 and came in limelight when he held a protest against the transfer of Allah Dino Khawaja aka AD Khawaja when he was posted as SSP Shikarpur and his first column was published in Daily Hilal Pakistan “Against the transfer of AD Khawaja” in December 1995.
Nasim also extended his literature activities by participating in the gathering of the Sindh Adabi Sangat Shikarpur branch in 1995.
Mr. Bukhari, told this blogger that I am started writing poetry, Waie, Gazal, Nazam, Chowista, Trero and Geet, because of I has been found of poetry.
Bukhari further said that he has written at least 4000 to 5000 columns and all of the columns have been published in different Daily Newspapers, Weekly and Monthly Magazine and wrote a lot for monthly Affairs.
Mr. Bukhari also started his own Monthly Magazine named Wikh, but published only 6 magazines in 2014, and stopped all the activities of Monthly Wikh owing to financial issues.
Bukhari recalled his memories and regrettably said that he stopped writing for Monthly Affairs, a famous magazine of Sindh, when he wrote regarding the Suicide blast of Central Imambargah Karbala Moula Lakhi gate Shikarpur, but I got legal notice amounting to Rs.5 million, but the management of the Affair Magazine published its apology and I faced a lot of troubles and decided not to write for affairs in future.
Nasim also has credit to write a book Jagirdarani Jabar Heth, complied with his written columns, besides Bukhari said that I have 80 percent record of my written columns and I have content to publish 300 to 400 books, but I am not financially sound to publish and appealed to philanthropists and found of books to come forward to publish the books.
Replying to a question regarding hurdles and threats, he said that I am satisfied with my write-ups because I always took the path of truth, but he expressed his great reservations concerning Ajrak Club Shikarpur and demanded the high-ups to play their role to vacate Ajrak Club.
In last, Mr. Nasim Bukhari, extended his message for the youth of Sindh mainly Shikarpur to take interest in current affairs, literature, and start writing because of their bright future.
